Back with a Vengeance!!!

Well,  it has clearly been a long time since I have blogged.   I was doing so well there for a moment, then sort of fell off the wagon and never hoped back on.  I've decided to give it a whirl again, hopefully posting something about once a week or so.

So here's the update on life.   I changed jobs about a year and a half ago to my dream job.  Studio Director for Dance 101, Atlanta's largest adult dance studio.  It's had it's ups and downs, but you'll get no complaints from me.  It's far better than pushing paper in an office someplace.   Well, for me at least.  Now I get paid to dance around all day and just be gay and happy.  Good times!

Moved to a new apartment in Midtown earlier this year, which I am absolutely loving.   I'm close to work (no more hateful commute up and down 400), close to town, close to my friends.  And the eye candy at the pool this summer was every flavor of yummy.

I've adopted another child.  No silly, not a human one, a cat.  his name is Blue, and he's been in the family now for almost two years.    He's precious, and likes to terrorize Jack.  What was I thinking, having two male cats???  Can't imagine life without either one of them now.   I've decided that I am just going to grow old and be the man with the cats.

I've dated some here and there, some a little more serious than others.  Still haven't settled down yet with Mr Right.  Hence the remark above about the man with the cats.

I did my first triathlon this year.  Actually, I've done two now.  The first one was great, the second one not-so-much.  It was in reverse order, and I now fully understand why the swim portion is usually first.   Trying to swim while the lower half of your body feels like dead weight from having just run and cycled  is not cute.  But I made it through, and am excited to begin training this Winter for my next one in the Spring.

Ok that's it for now.  Time to get back to work.  Do some dancing....
