I'm Baaaaaaaaaaaack! (with a vengeance)

Ok so I know I've said this a couple of times before. It's been a really long time since I've blogged. I have GOT to do better. Starting today.

Just a quick update before we get to the real business. I'm working again, part-time, at another studio. And wow, what a difference it makes when you work for someone with ethics and morals. The energy and attitude here is amazing, and I can't believe that I ever stooped so low by working for that other place. And ever since I have been here, more and more of my faithful students have made the cross over. It's like a journey from the dark side. Run to the light, Carol Anne!

I've recently started running (more than just training for sprint triathlons) and really enjoying it. I bought a new pair of shoes and it turns out that they are the Nike's that you can put their little sensor in. So now I can track how far I run, calories, time. etc. Which has all of the sudden motivated me to run more. Part of the reason I have always hated running is that I feel like I'm just running for no purpose. Now I set a goal for every run, be it distance or time. And I'm actually signed up for a a couple or races this Fall. I've already run two this year, so go me!

And, I've recently started dating a wonderful man. Kind of caught me off guard. You know that old adage, you find it when you aren't looking for it. Well that's apparently what happened here. In no way was I looking for or expecting to meet someone like him. and blam! There he was. So far things are going great. No drama, just good chemistry. We compliment each other well. Not to mention that he is hot like fire and his eyes make my knees weak. =)

Of course there are haters. I changed my Facebook status to say that I was in a relationship. For the most part, my friends have been supportive. But you know how queens can be. Several of them have said 'It'll never last' or 'You can do better' or even 'Keep on looking'. Mind you, none of them actually know the guy I am dating. They have based their comments solely on a picture of us that I posted on Facebook. Really? Never mind the fact that every one of them is eternally single and will sleep with anything on two legs with a penis, real or 'realistic and flesh-like'. And the one that's been the most hateful has never had a long term relationship. His idea of a relationship is a f*ckbuddy who will hit him from the back on the regular. Enough said.

So hater be damned. I'm happy, he's happy. That's all the matters in the end, right? Now, if anyone needs me, I need to find a recipe for a chocolate dessert that is going to make him want to do unspeakable things! =)
