Vacation All I ever Needed?

So I came down to Hilton Head for a long weekend to visit my mother. Was planning a nice calm, relaxing weekend. Of course that is NOT going to happen. Both of my nieces and my nephew are here, as well as my younger sister whose husband is flying in this afternoon. And if that weren't enough people in one house, my other sister and her husband are driving in as well this evening. 6 adults and three kids under the age of 8 doesn't exactly scream vacation. I'm trying to make the best of it; I got a couple of hours to myself this afternoon to go lay on the beach. Don't get me wrong, I love my family to death. But this many kids in one house is a perfect advertisement for birth control. And since I am the only one that doesn't have kids, I usually end up being the one that has to take care of them all. A couple of hours in the pool, 'Icarly' playing non-stop on the television, countless games of I Spy, and I've only been here 22 hours. Really? Much to my mother's chagrin, this is not doing anything to convince me that I need to have one of these things of my own. I'm going to find a nice 14 or 15 year old that needs a home should I ever decide to adopt. They can entertain themselves and there are no stinky diapers involved.

Ok, rant over. If you need me, I'll playing 'fort' in the living room.
